YogaClub Subscription Box Review: 5 Reasons to Try It

I decided to give the whole subscription box thing a try and I went with the YogaClub subscription box. This couldn’t have been at a more perfect time since I recently added “practice more yoga” onto my 6-month Dreamline (if you don’t know what a Dreamline is, read The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss).

Anyways, YogaClub is a subscription box that delivers curated yoga outfits straight to your door on a monthly or quarterly basis. Kind of exciting getting presents automatically sent to you, right?!

I was super excited to get my first YogaClub box and now that I have had a chance to try it out, I’m giving you my thoughts and some reasons why I think YogaClub might benefit you!

Let me give you a brief explanation of how the YogaClub subscription box works and what’s included.

Step 1: Take the Style Quiz

You get to answer questions about your likes, dislikes, styles, sizes, etc.

Step 2: Get Styled

Using the information you gave in the quiz, the perfect outfit is selected for you based on your wants and needs.

Step 3: Delivery

The YogaClub box will be delivered to your home and you will be so excited to see what the stylist picked out for you!

Super easy right?!

2 days after I submitted my quiz I received an email that my outfit was styled and ready to ship. About a week later I received the bright pink box with the note “Hello Beautiful”.

What’s Inside the Box

The YogaClub subscription box comes with a 3-piece outfit, which includes yoga pants, a sports bra, and a top. YogaClub works with great brands such as Free People, teeki, Onzie, and Vie Active, so you could get a mixture of items from different brands.

My box included the following:

  • Pair of Niyama Sol leggings (Retail $88)
  • Onzie bra (Retail $48)
  • Vie Active tank top (Retail $48)
  • Bonuses: Granola bar sample & coupon and a $45 gift card for Bright Cellars.

The total retail value of my YogaClub box is $184! I think this is a great deal considering the subscription box sells for $79, but potentially $59 if you use my coupon code “THATOCGIRL“!

I was very happy with my first YogaClub box. My outfit was perfect and something that I would have picked out myself. I absolutely love the style and the colors they picked for me.

Since I had a great experience with YogaClub, here are 5 reasons why I think it’s worth trying!

1. Because Yoga Pants Are Not Just for Yoga

I don’t know about you, but I wear yoga pants almost everywhere. I wear them hiking, walking the dog, on a lazy Sunday at home, going to the grocery store, and yes, for actually doing yoga. Yoga pants have become a basic fashion necessity, so it doesn’t hurt to have several options in your closet.

2. Subscription Boxes Are Convenient

Most of us probably enjoy shopping, but do we always have the time? Plus, with all of the options nowadays it’s kind of hard to decide which style, color, or brand we should buy. When I am presented with too many options I have a hard time making a decision, which kind of takes the fun out of shopping.

This might be what I loved the most about YogaClub. They made all of the decisions for me. I didn’t have to go to 3 different stores to find what I like. It was kind of exciting to see what the stylist chose for me and the process was super easy.

3. The Quality

I used to be the type of person that would only buy “budget” clothing (and I still do for certain things). As I get older I’m realizing more and more that sometimes it’s worth paying a little more for quality items. My yoga outfit is one of those things.

Have you ever bought a $10 or even a $20 pair of leggings, only to find out that they are completely see-through?! Not fun! That’s just money down the drain. The brands that YogaClub works with have high-quality items that will look and feel great!

4. To Gain Motivation

Do you ever get excited when you buy yourself something new and you have this extra boost of motivation to get out there and show it off? Getting my YogaClub box gave me the motivation to get out there and practice yoga more often. Imagine having that every quarter (or month!) when you receive your new shipment. That’s a nice little boost and this might be a great idea if you are struggling with this.

5. To Become Familiar with Brands

One of the main reasons for trying a subscription box is so that you can try out different items to find out what you like. It’s kind of cool that with YogaClub, you get to try these amazing brands and find your favorite one. Maybe you are looking for a brand that fits your body perfectly or has your favorite styles. It’s a great feeling when you find that, and the YogaClub subscription box can help you with it.

All this talk about the good things, but you might be wondering what the cons of YogaClub are? Yes, of course, there are downsides to most things. Let’s get to it.

The Cons of the YogaClub Subscription Box

We all know by now that sometimes brands do not always fit the same way. Unfortunately, I went with a small size bra, but this was a tiny bit smaller than I would like. I do think I could have gone with a medium size, but it is still wearable and not worth returning.

If I did want to make a return I can do that within 45 days as long as the clothes are not washed, worn, and still have the tags. But, shipping is not included. Not a big deal, but if you do ever get a piece that you do not like you will have to pay to send it back. At least the replacement would be shipped with your next box!

Other than that, I have no complaints about YogaClub! I think it is a great service that is easy to use and has a lot of benefits.
